PortusPark rewards start-ups at the 3rd edition of TECNET

Working in partnership with PORTUSPARK and TECPARQUES – Associação Portuguesa de Parques de C&T (Portuguese Association of S&T Parks), and with institutional support from S. João da Madeira Municipal Council, SANJOTEC staged the 3rd edition of the TECNET-Business Camp. This year’s event, which was Iberian in scope, took place in São João da Madeira on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd of June. This event focuses on technology, companies, innovation and entrepreneurship.

The companies in the PortusPark Network had the opportunity to sign up as exhibitors at the event and take part in the various themed areas of TECNET, specifically the Investment Arenas. These gave the start-ups the chance to prepare their pitches and undergo training before introducing themselves to investor panels present for the purpose. The best projects were rewarded by PortusPark with a chance to participate at Web Summit 2017, as part of the PortusPark Going Global operation.
