Going Global

The PortusPark Going Global project is a programme promoted by PortusPark - Associação do Parque de Ciência e Tenologia do Porto, within the framework of Portugal’s Norte region, to leverage the international promotion of its member companies.

With this in mind, the project’s main focus is the systematic and methodical development of actions to foster internationalisation and international promotion.
The plan of activities for the project makes it unique and innovative, since it includes aspects such as creating knowledge about the international markets, with actions that allow companies to introduce themselves on, and come into contact with, the international stage, alongside an effort to raise visibility on these same markets by using innovative measures.

By enhancing the Norte region’s visibility, which is essential in order to attract investment and leverage exports, it will be possible to capitalise on the results of the project.

The activities developed will generate knowledge that will be conveniently disseminated by the business fabric and will undoubtedly be of benefit to individual internationalisation efforts. They will also give rise to new projects under PortusPark’s leadership, helping to change mentalities and the existing paradigm regarding internationalisation.

This project will lay down strong roots for future continuity, developing a network cemented in the relationships that will be forged during its implementation and which will serve as a vehicle for continuous improvement and the development of the sector, as well as contributing to its sustained growth.
